Elizabeth Chien-Hale is very actively involved with events and delegations with an aim to improve mutual understanding of the intellectual property systems of the United States and China. A list of sample events follow:

August,
2007: Elizabeth Chien-Hale will moderate a panel on Chinese patent law
reform at the ABA Annual Meeting
March, 2007:
The IP Interest Group of the American Society of Intentional Law, for
which Elizabeth serves as the co-chair, will cooperate with the George
Washington University for a comparative IP program on China and India
March,
2007: Elizabeth Chien-Hale will be organizing an IP workshop in Beijing
in March, 2007 for the Localization Industry and Standards Organization
